A few people here in Atlanta have nitrous installed and I was wondering the same thing, how much improved is the 1/4 mile time? Or even the 0-60 time if a G-tech Pro is installed? A dyno sheet would be nice also.

i've been doing a lot of research on this, Here is what I've found (Sorry no times)

1. Wet kit - NOT RECOMMENDED. Yes, I know that the wet kit is supposedly safer, but it isn't due to what is termed a "NOS FART" It's when the nitrous mixture pools in the intake and explodes. Doesn't really fry your motor, but can damage the throttle body. This is why NOS does NOT RECOMMEND using a wet kit on our cars.

2. Dry Kit - Acceptable. A dry Kit from NOS or ZEX is safe up to about 75hp. The problem with these kits are that not all cylinders get an equal amount of nitrous (same as the wet kit, but the wet kit has the additional fuel for safety) and one or two of you cylinders can go lean, and detonate.

3. Direct port kit - RECOMMENDED. Unfortunately nobody makes a plate kit for our cars. You have to actually take the intake manifold off, and plumb them with the nitrous and fuel wires. then put everything back on. This is good for about 100-125hp safely.

I would imagine that you would save about .5 - 1 second in the quarter (probably more). (JUST A GUESS SO NO FLAMES!!!) I guess this by comparing the HP numbers to that of a supercharger.

There was a local guy with a ZEX kit and I think he was running a 75 shot and he ran 12.9 right before he tore up the tranny and rear end. Sounds pretty safe huh? That's instant torque to the wheels on this already questionable drivetrain. A direct port set up with a progressive controller is the safest way to go and you will see the biggest gains... it's also the most expensive. My direct port set up for my Prelude cost about $3K but it also dropped about 3 secs. in the quarter (100 shot). Keep in mind that nitrous is going to give you alot of torque with the additional horsepower.

im wanting that direct port kit, and run about a 75-80, and yes that instant torque could get things a little out of hand, but im all up to upgrading my car with better parts.
