Default Not good vibration!

First of all got my 1st s2k yesterday, its a 53 plate gt black.

But driving it back home noticed a vibration between 67-85 mph only while accellerating ? didn't think this would be tyres as its only under load, an not while cruising.

its just had its 54k service on wednesday an nothing was noted on the job card nor did the guy i brought it from say anything..............

any ideas guys ?

Cheers

Nathan

If it's only under acceleration it is probably the inner CV joints. It is pretty easy to resolve...have the driver's CV bucket moved over to the passenger side and vis versa. Search in the Under the Hood forum for more information.

If you aren't comfortable doing that work yourself, post up in the UK forum for a recommendation on a shop.

CV joints will vibrate at any speed when you accelerate if they are pitted. Still a possibility, but mine got pitted and I would notice it under acceleration even at 20mph.

I would check your tires out and make sure they are balanced properly as well.

i'd say start with the tires too. if i'm unsure i'll go for the easiest fix first then move on to the harder fixes... good luck with your car dude.
