But yeah I guess that is SOS's way of thinking. I was not willing to pay top dollar for nsx (wanted 02+) in good condition and then have to spend 10k+ to make it fast when I could just boost the s2k for way less and destroy a stock nsx

You obviously have never owned an NSX. That it's still a Honda does not apply. It's more like it's an exotic as far as sourcing parts and pricing goes. It's ok I thought the same thing when I bought it.

In my town, the majority of s2000 owners wave back. Old, middle aged, it doesn't matter. I wave to miata drivers, occasional Acura rsx's, and subarus (basically every Japanese tuner, except for the 350/370z). The only s2000 that doesn't wave back is this douche in Silverstone sporting an invidia exhaust and always in Oakley sun glasses. I think he feels supriour because he's rocking rainbow wheels and a sticker.
Most everyone in my area will wave regardless of the car make as long as you're part of the local car scene you're good to go for some love. There are the occasional pricks who spend obscene amounts of money on their rides (and don't have a problem letting everyone know they're better) that wont even turn their head.
If only you had a tad bit more room to squeeze in an ITR, you would then have my ultimate fantasy collection!
