Default NSX Engine in S2000?

Who likes this idea? I think someone with gobs of dough should try this out, and then give it to me for free. Well, seriously though, I really don't get why Honda didn't put the V6 from the NSX into the S2000, the engine is probably more expensive, but it balances out when you consider that they designed an entirely new engine for the S2K. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Well, if no one wants to pretend they're a japanese supertuner ("hey guys, lets put an mr2 engine in a supra to save space!" Hey guys, let's put a rb26dett with 1200ph+ in a Z32!")then oh well, it would be pretty nice though. I think the NSX engine only weighs a couple lbs more, and since it's a V6, it would be even closer to the middle than the s2ks I4, so lets not complain about my idea and say weight will kill it and youll die and burn in a firey pitt from doing this.

where would you put the engine? in the trunk?
that'd cost a ridiculous amount of money.

Why don't you get it, they did it for a reason. Who else wants to chime in.

shut your mouth man, your gonna make me look stupid
oh well, it was just a thought, besides, the engine isnt really much heavier, especially with titanium rods, I'm sure you can make it fit, you just gotta take out A/C and cut out some of the engine bay, so what if the heads rub the wheels, more power, right?

To this point, your posts have either been offensive or mindless dribble.

Seriously, I wouldn't know how you can fit a MR setup into an FR setup without some serious modifications. As a matter of fact, it's not done by anyone in Japan as yet. Probably because, the F20c is a gem rather than something people would want to take out and try to attempt an C32B hybrid exchange job.

It's been done the reverse way.... Elise's come fitted with B18C5's here in the states... pretty wild stuff... but yah, putting the NSX's motor into an s2000.... we'll never see that happen.....

side note: Top Secret put a B18 into the back of a Del Sol, and then turbocharged it...

i dont think the 3.2 liter engine will fit in the tiny engine bay for a 2.0L. besides, the weight distribution wont be 50/50. why would you want a fast car that cannot handle as quick as it accelerates( or deccelerates)?

The NSX engine turns the wrong way. It's about 100 lbs heaver than the 2.0l S2000 engine - causing a bad weight balance on the S2000.
