Default Occasionally, stick slips out of 4th

Hi. Occaisonally, about once a week, my stick shift slips out of 4th gear and goes into neutral. What could be the cause of this?

synchros? Where in Va? They'll prob move this to under hood for more info.
You need a mech to test drive. No offense but, once a week sounds like driver error to me. I'm guessing if it were mechanical it would be everytime or at least a lot more often. Are you accellerating or decel when it happens?

There are related TSBs but they are for the earlier cars, not 2006.

So could it be a simple matter of not putting it in 4th all the way?

Does it only happen when the transmission is cold? How much throttle are you giving it? Are you typically driving up hill?

It mainly happens when the transmission is cold. Average throttle, level ground.

Honda Service Bulletin said this may be because of aftermarket transmission fluid or dirty transmission fluid. Solution was to replace with the new Honda MTF. If still happens then you have a problem.
