Default OEM Hardtop weatherstrips (HELP!)

I have my OEM Hardtop for awhile now and the driver side weatherstrip is starting to rip. I went to a local Honda stealership to inquire in the weatherstrips. They referred me to their s2k parts specialist and to my surprise he told me that they don't sell the weatherstrips. He told me that I have to buy a whole new hardtop.

Any inputs? Where to buy it or go? Part number? Price? Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem, honda also told me the same thing bout having to buy a new hardtop cause the weather seals are molded on so the hardtop seals will seal correctly when I close the window/door . I dont know if this is true but I didn't buy a new hardtop, I just glued it back on. I get alot of wind noise and have to go easy when I close my door. I gave up on trying to find the part number after getting transfer a bunch of times to clueless ppl who have no idea how to fix a simple seal Thou if someone do find the part# or DIY please chime in

Well that sucks. Any idea how the weather stripping wore out or got damaged? Just would like to know for myself so I can avoid it from happening to me. Also, any pics?

I'm very sure you can buy the weatherstrip seperatly. Check with Majestic Honda or call HTG . These are seperate parts and no way would anyone buy a whole new HT to solve thier leak problems.

Really not an OEM problem it's a worn out weatherstrip problem.
