Never mind. Decided it wasn't worth my time to respond.

This is going to get locked pretty quickly. Basically... everyone that "made fun of you" was making their comments in FUN. They added smileys after their comments and just thought it was funny. All you had to say was "D'oh! Sorry guys I got confused about something. I'll just shut up now and do some research! "

Then, we would have all said no prob and a few months from now everyone would have looked back and thought it was funny. Now, we just think you're funny... and stupid... and an asshole.

Oh, and good luck with that whole "being retarded" thing. Anyone asking what gains are from an OEM header probably is on the fence in the being mentally retarded category.

Is it just me,or are we getting more and more posts like this one in this forum???
What's going on;we never saw that,2 or 3 years ago.????
It's the attitude,that bugs me;I can understand,somebody who is new,and don't know something,or ask something obvious or ridiculous,and I don't mind to help,if I can.
But if that kind of attitude starts spreading, more and more, all over the Forum,It's gonna be downhill, from here on,and that would be sad.

The car is getting cheaper and more younger people are being able to buy it. Unfortunately many young people start off assholes until they learn a little more about like (coming from a student 20yr old)

as to Dud...I'm done man, you really have proven yourself. If you saw my first post you would see it was a complete and utter joke. I made the fricken dyno in MS Paint, I joked about the dyno saying it gave a "mad vtec kick" and perfectly flat torque curve.

There was a time when I also didn't know what OEM stood for...since it was such a common acronym I searched google or ask or maybe even infoseek as it was quite some time ago...but I researched. Then I figured it out.

If you had come here and asked what OEM meant, you wouldn't have gotten flamed, but it was your question and how you asked it that received the posts it did. Move on, this is an internet forum, I'm sure it isn't a staple priority in your life. You asked a dumb question you got the appropriate answers, you retaliated, and now the only person that is really getting frustrated is yourself. I really don't care, but in this post, I'm trying to help you. To help you realize that you should have dropped everything a couple pages back.

Good Luck,
And this is my last post in this thread,

Eric

and my point is proven. I didnt start it, im just gettin gangbanged by 15 people. The fact that smiley faces were placed after quotes of "you are an idiot" "dumbest comment ever" blah blah doesnt deter from the fact you were all making a mockery of me.

As if to say, hypothetically of course(and im being serious)

"**** you you idiot, how dare say something so stupid"
...notice how this doesnt really tone down the message.

I took your comments whole hearted, as poking fun at a inexperienced member.
Perhaps this tight fit group should pay more attention to the fact that you may know eachother and understand you are joking but "new"(dont visit much) members dont make the connection, and your comments are not taken sarcastically. If the comments were written in a more sarcastic fashion, rather then "you're an idiot" i may have caught on. Maybe something to think about in the future, and as you put it the new members will not have so many of these retaliation posts.

p.s.

My asking questions here is the "research" im performing. I respect the forum members who respond to my question as knowledgable on the subject. If i wanted a biased opinion from the manufacture of the product(whether it be intake, header, pulley, etc.) i would go to the site. But rather i would like information from people who have the products on their car and have tested them first hand, not comptech, J's, Backyard all telling me the exact same information that their product is superior.

DDuds2k, you mentioned earlier that you had a nice cash flow. If that's the case, why don't you consider getting a supercharger or turbo kit. Why spend $$$ for a header with minimal gains?

Oh, btw, humility goes a long way sometimes.
