can anyone who has the headrest speakers for a 2004 tell me if they're worth it? keep in mind i am a person who is unable/unwilling to install speakers myself.

for the price they're selling them at the dealership. no, they're not worth it AT ALL

well they are cheap paper cones. so no matter how good they are they won't hold up over time.

 

I went into a dealer to listen to them and thought they sounded weak sitting in the showroom. I couldn't imagine they would sound any better with road/wind noise added into the mix.

 

The sound is terrible.
Dont worth that kind of money.I believe its a shame of HONDA to release an accessory with such a bad quality speaker, although its shape looks very nice.
You should buy them only in case you intend to get rid the speakers inside them, keep the housing and install something better in it.(i.e twiters, combined with rear seat woofers)

 

Do it yourself cheap W/ bigger, better quality speakers! I used Pioneer 120 watt 4" speakers from Walmart for $40.
