I'm pretty much new at this forum.
Please advise me with any information.
Recently I've decide to remove the OEM intake cover out of my 05
then replace the OEM filter with high-flow K&N filter.
While going up and down in various RPM range, i've noticed
I'm hearing nice sound from the intake.
Can i drive around without the cover? wouldn't cause any problems at all?
Please help!!

 

Driving without the intake cover on is known for powerloss.... It wont hurt it to ride without the cover on, and yes it sounds very nice.

1) Ride with cover on, less sound, better performance

2) Ride without it, nice sound, suffer from heatsoak......

I love the sound with it off too, but when the cover comes back on, I can definately feel the power difference.
