Please scrape off that paint immediately and give your keys to rightful owner.

However to me (couldn't resist) it looks neither factory, nor "tuned", in other words it just looks out of place. Stripes are not the way to go, either paint/dye then entire box to match the red of the engine, or make it match something else in the engine pay (carbon fiber or chrome).

Wow, these replies are pretty harsh.
I would say it has potential. Maybe if you could get a flat cover so it wouldn't have the stripes, then paint it with Honda NFR and give it a coat of wax..... idk, just getting some thoughts down.
Either way, if it makes you happy, that's all that matters.
