Your passenger will get a nice view if you could get it. Its aimed at the RIGHT site of the car.

Why? Probably cost you a whole shit load more to go OEM. Also since only the Japanese market was offered OEM, I would imagine that everything is probably in Japanese and probably doesn't come with any Navi for the US. So basically a waste of money. But hey not my money.

better approach would be to get a Clarion, Kenwood, or Alpine navi system installed. Actually its very easy to install this in our cars (maybe I've been around the S too much).

I would recommend waiting for 03 models to come out. No sense in spending 2-3grand (even on sale) now.

Another option: Take an old laptop computer, and order "Street Atlas USA Deluxe" from Delorme, and get the Earthmate GPS antenna that plugs into the back of the laptop. You get a full-sized laptop display screen (instead of those puny displays that come with the Garmin) and the one CD has nearly every road in the country on it, and if it's missing one, the software allows you to add it. Only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to mount the laptop conveniently. It's a super package, I used it to locate an obscure road I had to find on Christmas eve for a gig I had to play.

Lucid are u trying to say that 03 models will have a Navi option, they need to get it in there specially with the 350Z offering so many options.
