Default oem rear spoiler question?

is it ok to use double sided tape without drilling?
mine didnt come with any screws so i dont know what kind of screws to use..
if i can get away without drilling i would prefer it that way.

also..when installed. does the spoiler sit flush with the rear brake light?

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I would not use double sided tape. Go to majestic honda and just look up the hardware numbers and order. Its better to drill and have it on secure than risk it flying off in the wind

False. It won't fly off-- double sided tape is fine.

I quickly took a few pictures to show you what the OEM lip spoiler looks like when installed. It does not cover the brake light, but actually curves over it. The pictures should explain better... Also, mine is secured using some kind of adhesive and a single bolt on both ends of the spoiler. If you require more pictures, just send me a PM.

Back when i had a gti i used HD velcro and screws on the sides to hold on the side skirts because the car was too low for a tow truck (it was a vw lol)

HD velcro is my recomendation

You could use a silicon type adhesive. I've seen some members using this method and it sits very firm. I've also seen people removing them once they want to get rid of it. It doesn't make any significant damage to the color.
