I called two local Honda Dealers today hunting down a standard black leather wrapped knob and they go for as much as 150-200 I almost crapped myself! is there an easier way easier on my wallet?

Look through the posts here for recently wrecked ones, there have been a few and a few people are changing theirs out for aftermarket.

eBay, craigslist, junk yard.

Oh, and what happened to yours? They don't usually just fall off...

So become a member, you'll be happier for doing so. You can buy a membership with the money you save from buying from someone here.
