Default OEM Spoiler to OEM Wing

Right now I have the OEM trunk spoiler. It looks good, but I still think I'd rather have the OEM wing. Only thing is I was wondering how much of a hassle it would be to switch my trunk spoiler for the wing?

I'm guessing they don't mount in the same holes right? So I'd have to fill the trunk spoiler holes, paint over them and drill new holes for the wing? That sounds like a PITA and more than I really want to get into. Is this the case?

If so would it maybe be smarter/easier to try and swap trunks with someone who already has a wing and wants a spoiler?

Any suggestions/help given is appreciated,
Thanks.

Lol, maybe after I get a wing. I'll let you know if/when I decide to sell it. For now lets try and stick to info on a spoiler to wing switch.

Thanks.

I think you are missing a word, I'm guessing you meant "I pretty sure the OEM deck spoiler and the wing have the SAME hole positions...."?

I hope so. Can anyone confirm this?

The OEM wing (i hope you mean the CR wing) has holes where the support bar is near the ends of the center brake light.

6 Holes total.

No, sorry, I don't mean the CR wing. I mean the regular AP2 wing...

From the two pix it is evident that the holes are in different positions on the deck.

Those pics are of the CR wing. I am talking about the regular AP2 wing as I said in my last post. Please read.

Easier to switch deck lids. The hole on the end of the spoiler is the same as the wing but you will need to fill the holes towards the center if they were drilled for the spoiler as these are not covered by the wing.
