I am looking for an OEM style aftermarket hood that has the little bump up front to accomodate a snorkle style intake. I have seen a couple of styles that have the bump, but they also have all manner of cut-outs and ridges and lines and stuff. So far I haven't seen any "plain" ones with just that bump.

I suspect that no one makes this, but hopefully I'm wrong. Anyone know of one?

Havn't seen one yet, my guess is that most of the tuner companies make hoods that fit their own intakes, problem is they probably figure if you willing to spend (usually quite a bit) for the intake and a hood with a bump in it, you would prefer to get a hood with improved cooling through vents as well.

Maybe one of the less aggresive styled tuners have something that I havn't seen (Mugen or Spoon maybe??). Sometimes they have very rare parts that aren't as popular.

Another option would be to have one made. I have seen all kinds of custom scoops and bumps made for Porsche track cars, I am sure you can find someone who can make one for you (probably for a decent price too).

Jan look at the J's racing aero bonnet. See that bump where the 2nd vent on the C-west is? He wants that without all the vents on the hood.

This bump can be found also on the Mugen hood and the Spoon.
