Default OEM style lip from Ebay

For those who bought ebay lips... did your edges look like this?

I emailed the guy, he said they are all like that and that you would need to do a little sanding before painting.

I understand you need to sand a bit for primer/paint, but this looks like it needs some molding to look good after paint!!!

Yeah, I should of.

I bought this because there are so many threads saying good things about it... how it fits perfectly and what not.

This is basically OEM.. well its copy, but it looks exactly like it.

Heres just one of the MANY threads vouching for its fit and quality.

I'm just asking the people who have this lip (and know that there are many) if this is normal. I can easily fix it before paint, but I just like to know if its normal or not.

i don't think a body should would charge too much more to smooth that out before painting. wouldn't they have to sand down the whole thing first anyway?

I can probably smooth that down myself as well. Its not as bad as the picture makes it. But I would first like to know if this is how they all are. I don't want to put any work/money into something I dont have to.

did it come with the lining, so that it doesn't scratch the body paint?
