OEM style spoiler from ebay.
Hi all,
I thought i'd start this topic so you guys won't get shafted like i did. I bought an OEM replica spoiler from ebay id RACING_RAVEN. It was to come painted as well and they advertised how accurate and sophisticated their painting procedures were. Well...i finally got the product today shipped from japan, which took 4 weeks and i open my package to the pictures below. =) The pictures do NOT do justice for it cannot capture the damages as our eyes do. There are a lot more defects on the actual products than the amount of pics shown. I've emailed them regarding this and sent them these pictures as well. Hopefully they will comply or this is gonna be an irritating dispute since they're located all the way in japan. =(

besides the damage above, how is the paint match? How much is INT. shipping? I'd say if it's that bad, i can't see it looking any better after the repaint since its an ebay item. I'd see if a local shop would spray it for cheap.

+1. Take it in the butt and move on. International shipping on an item that size is going to be expensive, and probably add up to more than you paid for the spoiler. You'd be better off just having a local paint shop re-finish it.
Chaulk it up to a lesson learned and move on
I tried the same thing 5 years ago for a civic spoiler. It was from spoiler depot in Miami.
3 spoilers with improper matching silver paint, and a few calls to the credit card company finally got me my $$ back. They were less than helpful.
Buy the genuine stuff from Honda and you will not have problems - that's what I did.

How is the fitment? I was considering buying one from them painted. Now that I have seen this, I might just buy the unpainted one and have a local body shop paint it for me.
Does it fit ok? Hardware for install?
