Default OEM Wheel lock

Guys,

I ordered a set off ebay

P/N 08W42-SCV-101 . When doing a research I saw most P/N are 08W42-SCV-100.

Any idea whats the difference?

I haven't install them yet. It is for an '07 if it matters.

Tnt

They are made by Mcgard. Both locks are made to works with most Hondas.
I believe one of them is low profile and looks better, not sure which one is which.

Honda makes 2 versions of the OEM wheel locks. 101 should be the lower profile.

Mine looks like the one on the right of the pic. It is chrome like...

Just installed it. Defintely higher than the stock lug. Height wise, the left is the stock and the right is the lock.

Concur. The "101s" are what I have on my sled and their height matches the OEM lug nuts

I am looking for 08W42-SCV-101 wheel locks but Santa Ana Honda wants to charge me $66 for the set. As a temporary fix, I'm thinking of using the ones on my Accord, which is not low profile and will not mount flush with the lug nut hole. Should I be concerned with safety?

Also, wikipedia says Honda uses a spherical seat. Does that mean I have to be careful with aftermarket wheel locks?

Thanks in advance for looking.

If anyone is still wondering the part number 08W42-SCV-100 and 08W42-S2A-101 work with OEM wheels. The S2A-101 is black and sticks out the same distance as the SCV-101. I had a hard time finding specs on their dimensions and the S2A-101 on all the online Honda sites are for newer cars and says it won't fit s2ks. After lots of research, I made an educated guess and test fitted them and they work ! Hope this helps someone down the road
