Default OEM wheels VS. replica wheels

So has anyone ever compared OEM and replica AP2 wheels? Is there any difference? Will there be less writing inside the spokes? does OEM say what manufacturing it comes from. replicas don't??

I don't know of any difference - I think its even the same alloy, but I'm no expert on it. Considering the rims are like $500 a piece from a dealer and $150 from a remanufacturer, does it even matter?

I friend chipped obe of me rims, its small but I know its there. (girl driver, nonetheless)

Will matter to me if its different weight as it will upset my cars handling. Or diff paint that will show diff fading after a couple of years.

U dont mind buying a set if I'm not compromising the weight either.

I would buy used OEM from ebay, there are a lot of them and as cheap as the reps.

recon rims will have all the markings of an OEM unless otherwise specified. Typically recon companies are somewhat selective with the rims they take- for them trying to mend a really messed up rim and selling it at their normal price is not worth it even if the repairs are shoddy. Candidates are usually curbed rashed or scuffed, the kind of rims that insurance companies pay to replace, but if the rims are bent or cracked, most companies won't even bother.

OEM usually have a stamp that says Honda. I doubt the replica would have that.

I don't think our rims say Honda.
