Off to see the PDR guy in two hours
anything i need to know?
purchased my car last month and she's got two dings - the most noticable one is located above the passenger's rear tire and the second is just above the driver's door handle. dealer finally called and said bring her in
no chips in the paint - -
do i need to be aware of anything and how long does it usally take.
funny dealer had no idea how long it will take. he goes on to tell me that pdr is done with magnets.. magnets ya right pal oh wait your the same guy who told me there's nothing special i need to know about the break in period and the car doesn't need premuim gas

I know people who have had it done and somewhat akin to plastic surgery, the quality varies and is also in the eye of the beholder. I watched one guy do it on a Porsche and instead of magnets, he drilled a small hole in the door side jam (actually on the bottom) and used small tools inserted thru the hole to work out the ding from the inside. I must say, I am VERY finacky about such things and I could not tell where the ding had been when he finished. He had a lot of experience doing this procedure which is what I think you are going to want from whoever does yours.
