OFFICIAL "OCTOBER RIDE OF THE MONTH" POLL
[QUOTE=Poindexter,Oct 14 2005, 04:04 AM] Urmil (Luder94) - it is too bad not many people know what you've done to your car or how much money it costs to get your car to that point with all Mugen parts (not just aero pieces people), and multiple parts
-> like having two of certain things
Glad you made it to ROTM though

Congratulations on hitting your modding goals
- those are impressive. I think we would all be into housing prices if we could do everything we wanted to do with our cars

modding is definately something you have to be committed to doing.....the $$$$ definately rack up quick, and if you have a vision in mind then you have to make sure that you can pull it off to completion.
as far as the exotic guys, its all relative - just the price tags are bigger for them!

My cars looks as always been geared (for some reason, JDM theme maybe?) towards the younger crowd. Older folks seem to not like what I have done and thats fine. Its too wild for some and to much for others...
That would also explain the success you've had at the bigger shows.
Hell, all I ever wanted was to be in a magazine, even it were in the "Readers' Rides" section.

Heck yeah and land purchasing prices... I cant fathom what the NSX, Ferrari, Lambo guys spend if and when they mod those cars. I can only imagine.
Think of something you put on the S and multiply the modification's price by 3

A cheap exhaust is $1000
Headers are at least $2000 and they aren't bolt ons - labor is about $2000 on those.
There are 2 stages of super chargers:
Stage 1 is $8,500 - $500 for ECU tune - and a good $2000+ for labor
Stage 2 is $10,000 and the same costs apply there as well.
Super Chargers also require aftermarket headers, a new clutch package ($2000 before labor) and headers don't bolt on with the factory pipes so those have to be replaced too.
The only thing that is about the same price are coilovers.
