Default Oh; VTEC LAND!!!! My First Time!!

On the way home last night from a long day (top down in Seattle's high 30's), I took the I-90 turnoff at Issaquah and the much awaited 600 mile mark was noted. I quickly took the next on-ramp and approached the left hander in 2nd gear and.... OMG!!!! There's another freakin' engine in this thing!!!! I pulled 2nd and 3rd to 8,000 rpm. Oh, the joy of ownership....

Regards
Bruce

Give it a could weeks, the permanent sh!t eating ear-to-ear grin will wear off some...

Of course the thrill of winding the car out to 9k never gets old.

I also hit VTEC for the first time yesterday!

Did the 750 mile break-in, and was getting used to the car (and loving it) even before discovering VTEC! Amazing feeling when you're already at highway speeds, and you still have three gears to go!

Other impressive thing was how smooth the transmission felt while shifting at 8000 RPM. I don't consider myself to be that great of a driver, but it was so easy! I swear that shifting was smoother than at 4000 RPM!
