I don't usually jump onto the dogpile congrats threads, but this one is special.

You've contributed more good things to this board in terms of ideas, humor, and bonhommie (not to mention those high-quality and fairly-priced goodies) than anyone I can think of. We've all gained much from your presence here, and I wish you all the best with your new car. May both it and you enjoy good health for many years to come!

I believe I'll go get a beer to drink to that.

I'll join Tox in raising a glass to you, Rick. Except I'll crack open a bottle of Beaujolais just for the occasion...great excuse for that!

Thanks, everybody, and especially Greg, whose car was the first I saw in the flesh and rode in, and whose driving -- although it scared the s**t out of me, skillfully demonstrated the capabilities of this amazing car.

Now if I can just get it home without being so nervous I miss a few shifts...

Congrats, Rick!

I'm sure you'll find (like the rest of us) that the first few days of ownership will revolve entirely around counting the seconds until the next time you get to drive your S! Whether you're sleeping, eating, or at work... the same thought will go through your mind: "Can't wait to finish whatever it is that I'm doing so I can drive it again!"

Again, congratulations... and ENJOY!!! You deserve it more than anybody...
