Default Oh man!

Have i got a story for you guys! I was driving my s2k to a gathering of cars. I went with my son. So we pull up, some of my sons friends talk with him, everythings going all right. A highly modded white mitsubishi eclips pulls up, slows down, and eventually stops. He puts it in park, turns off the engine, and im talking to my sons friends like nothing has happened. All of a suddenly the guy in the white eclipes opened his door and gets out! His door was like a lamborghini door!!! What the hell! Why! He looked like an idiot! He must have spent a fortune on that!!! And also, his car was modded for looks only. The only performance parts he had on his car were an exhaust (that was loud as hell), and a new intercooler. Hes an idiot, just trying to look flashy.

Why is the guy an idiot? He was simply trying to impress you. What car gathering were you attending?

I think "Lambo" style doors look nice on lots of non-Lambo's. It was a show car, anyway, so it's something that stands out . . . well sort of, as it is the newest all-out "hot-show-mod" in the show scene . . . you'd think people would have better things to do with $10k than make your doors open upwards . . .

I agree, totally. What possesses people to do such things? Vanity will only take you so far. I don't find it cool at all .

Because we are use to see (conventionnal door) we may find it's not a good idea to have the doors open like that but this kind of door must be perfect in a parallel parking like in a chopping center !!!

There is a M3/M5 that has its doors open like that. I almost wet myself when I saw it in the magazine. I like it wonder what it would looklike on a S2k with a hardtop.
