The day after I brought my car home, I cut a piece of cardboard to fit in the "well" where the top hides. I bought black fleece, and wrapped the cardboard and secured it with a few staples.

The cardboard holds the fleece in place, and the window looks beautiful to this day. Believe me, it ain't that tough.
And the total cost was about $6.00 (american dollars).
If anyone wants me to make one for them, the cost will be $60.00 plus shipping.
Anyone,,,anyone,,,!

Muz is right. It has been my experience that at least 10 percent of the population, including members of this board (none of whom we will name ) go through life unconscious.

I'd rather buy a Muz Mat. My (replacement) rear window looks as good as new after 13 months of service. I wish they were available in 9/99 when I took delivery.

Muz's products are worth every penny. You might be able to get the mat cheaper if you wait for a group buy, but I'm not sure if those are going on anymore.

Why? Most vendors mark their products up by about 25 - 30% not 1000%.
