Great weather this weekend - or did it just seem so?

Saturday, Waxed the car. Looks Gorgeous. I installed the Kenwood KFC1666's & now the ICE no longer makes me nauseous. It's actually quite reasonable.

And I passed 600 Miles!!!!!! Wooo-hooo! This thing goes! It might be safer to leave it on Belgian transit plates, though

Sunday - Surrey back lanes. Holds it own against my mate Mark's CBR600. His wife Lisa seemed to be unimpressed on the pillion though On fully warmed tyres, it is really quite good.

Monday - Installed the Fiamm air horns. That should keep the bimblers on the correct side of the road! More nice driving weather.

Actually, that was three perfect days.

Three days without rain in the UK? Isn't that some sort of record? Seriously, congratulations on getting your S2K. It's a wonderful automobile, isn't it?

Hey Nick,

I can't believe the weather either . Have you seen the forecast for
this weekend too - SUN, SUN and maybe a little rain!

Glad your enjoying you new baby. Had a great time myself over
the bank holiday (extended weekend). Looking forward to a nice long
drive down to Cornwall this weekend.

I know what you mean about this car "going". I've almost gotten used
to it, until I look down at the Speedo!

For all you guys out of the UK, it does feel like a record breaking spell of weather.

Yada yada yada - You guys.......
I am so jealous. I am waiting for my second and wish that I still had my first.

I am driving my CRX at the moment (Roof up until I clean it).

I saw 2 S2000's (Silver Black, Silver Red) on the M4 Tuesday. It was a lovely day and they had their Windows up!!!

Guys - Leave them down (Especially if you are doing 60!)

Anyway, the weekend is going to be special too so all of you ENJOY IT and think of me reading my S2000 book whilst pushing my MAISTO model across the decking...

Nick,
How do you feel advising a man with 2 left hands (Spooky image!) on how to change his horn. Where did you get yours and how much did you pay. I thought you could only get the
Fiamm air horns in the states.

Kind Regards,
Sam.

This is spooky - thunderstorms at night & sunny if humid days! Now I know my black stook is pure evil

Paul - Howay man! good weather in Newcastle too. Even spookier!

Sam - I took my book to read on the way to Brussels to collect the car. I also imported an Autoart S2K in black! That way, I could practise for the high of the real car. Believe me, it's worth it. Two left hands & only one horn (snark snark, fnarr fnarr)Seriously, the Fiamms are about twenty notes from any good (?) Halfords. You will need an inline fuse holder, some 20A cable, crimp connectors, cable ties and some dexion for brackets, etc. You need to undo & pull away the covers below and in front of the radiator to gain access. A degree in gyneocology would be helpful at this point

There is a guide at:

https://www.s2ki.com/faqs/faq_airhorn.php

This is really useful site for such desirable mods.

Anyway, the five month wait for the car does drag, but for me, it was well worth it!
