LUDER94: What a lucky punk. I want a ride too. I'm seriously considering a S/C right now. But still wondering if its worth it or not.

Yes, and driven one too. Great ride, but not for me. So far on my "kill" list of exotic cars to drive in my life that are worth mentioning are as follows:

360
355
Countach
M5
and others that I can't remembeer to list at this hour.

I noticed hecash's, boost was very linear and did not have any of the hesitation symptoms that others have had. However, he did explain to me what mods he had to do (and make) to get it running the way it does.

He's working on some "ghost booster" circuit for a real plug and play fix. If and when he gets it done successfully, there may be one more SC'd S2000 ripping around Chicago, that'd be me!!! Yes Young, it is worth it!!!

Luder94: make it TWO more SC'd S2000 ripping around Chicago.
I'm ready to order, just waiting to see the results of others SC'd S.

Get ahold of hecash, I'm sure he'd be willing to give you a ride. . .he offered me to take it for a spin, but I kindly declined, so he may do the same for you.

Anyway, I hope that with your purchase, you'll have less of a "headache" to get the charger to work correctly from the start after other's experiences.

Chech out the meet section, I want to try to organize a small IL meet the weekend before Asheville.

Oh yeah, as far as me getting boosted, it won't happen for a while. I got a wedding, engagement party, new home purchase, car note, and other bills to worry about right now. Once I can get rid of one of those, AND convince the future Mrs. Patel, I will most likely join the FI club.

Hey S2K community!!!! Maybe all of you can put together a little dough from each and purchase a Supercharger for me as a wedding gift, I'd sure appreciate it! HHHHmmmmm, I feel like I may copy Schatten's http://www.buymeaferrari.com idea and put together a little site of my own: http://www.buymeacomptechsuperchargersotha...epowercrowd. com

Luder94,

When are you getting married? I'm getting married the 28th (That's why I can't go to Ashville)... I will have professional pictures of me and the new wife in the Stook!

...you didn't do it right: your supposed to pour the money into the Stook (S/C) BEFORE you get married... that's what I did

Alot of my money went into the car you see below in my sig. Some money went into mods for the S2K, and the rest goes into savings, bills, payments, etc.

That's ok, life is short, life is long....I have many years ahead of me to do all the things I want to do.

Shaner, the date is tentatively set for Dec. 30, 2001. We want to start the new year off together in a new house, with no debt (besides mortgage), etc.

Ever ride in a genuine Shelby Cobra 427 on a racetrack?

Nothing gives you the sense of raw power as one of these.

It's frightening and thrilling at the same time!

$0.50 says he's excited. Whaddya think?

Way cool. My only super-intense ride was in my old man's 1978 Ferrari, a 308 GTS. This was late high school, maybe early college. Back roads at WAY above the speed limit.
A very cool moment for me.

That and going to Tim O'Neil's rally driving school in Franconia, NH this winter for a skid course. THOSE guys can drive!!!
