Default oil check warm?

I decided to check the oil about 45min after driving it since this morning it went to the first X below Full. I am anal and must keep my car top condition so I always make sure oil is at F. Well guess what, the oil was the same level!! 1st X!! I mean I expected it to be way lower since one would expect the oil to go down slowly...I did a 20min drive also beforehand. Well I used about 1/7th of the bottle to bring her back up to F. I know that there are tons of threads saying hot check immediately or it will be way off. I always go by cold checks like this morning to accuarelty measure it. So just to repeat I was surprised for the oil to be measuring same exact level after 45min.
Also just did 10min drive and did a hot check as a member had written a post about and now its back to the 1st X.

I'm sure in the morn itll be back to F or another 30-45 min of just sitting. Weird how it was the same level thoguht oil hot oil flowed slow and takes 5 or more hours...

check the oil after the car has been sitting overnight...this is the most accurate way to do so.

You do realize that it is perfectly safe to run this car with the oil level right on the "ADD" mark, right? I'm not saying you should wait that long, but topping up when it only needs 1/7th of a bottle is just waaaaaaay over the top.

I don't think you should be filling it to the top F mark. It says in the manual that the level should bein the middle of all those marks.
