What is your oil consumption rate and your current mileage?

On a side note, where exactly is the oil going?

The F20C will burn a bit of oil while the oil skirt seals seat. This can be quite a bit which is why Honda says check it at every fill-up. Your skirt seals should be fully seated at 10K which is why Honda says it is then acceptable to go to synthetic. The "break-in" oil is very high in Molybdenum Disulfate and detergents. The moly will fill the voids in the cylinder sleeves over a bit of time using temperature and pressure. The detergent will clean up the aftermath...........

The oil is blown past the ring seals and becomes an elemement of combustion. So it goes out the exhaust......

I changed my oil at about 3900 miles. It had burned about 1 quart. I am at 5700 miles now and there is no noticeable oil burn.

mine burned off tremendous amounts of oil for the first 10,000
miles. It sill comsumes some at 20K miles, but much much less...probably along the lines of 1/2 qt per 2500 miles.

I am at 17500kms or 10 873 miles and I am still burning about 1 qt per 3300kms (2000 miles)

I switched to a synthetic at 10 000kms that had little moly in it. Now I am back to a synthetic has has decent moly ~70ppm.

Did I switch to synthetic too early? If so will the consumption decrease after some more mileage?

Louie, yup same here, -30 is a piece of cake if plugged in. Since the cabin small and soft top is black, the cabin is quite warm or heats up fast. Hopefully with more mileage, the consumption will decline.

I have 10,000kms to this date.

Changed the oil at
1000kms (Valvoline Conventional 10W30)
2000kms (Valvoline Conventional 10W30)
4000kms (Valvoline Conventional 10W30)
9000kms (Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W30)

No oil consumtion at all. Even after a few track days. Never needed to add.
