oil meter on ap2

Default oil meter on ap2

okay okay!!

ive done it before but for some reason, it wouldnt work this time.


just changed the oil.


i need help reseting my oil meter on my car. all i remember was to hold down the trip button until it changes. but for some reason it wouldnt work!!


any suggestions

1.) Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) positiion
2.) Press the TRIP button until the engine oil life indicator is displayed
3.) Press the TRIP button for about 10 seconds. The engine oil life and maintenance indicator item code(s) will blink
4.) Press the TRIP button for about 5 seconds. The maintenance items code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to "100"

You should read your manual. It will NOT correct itself. It'll just go into negative miles driven.

lol my guy said he reseted it when we were changing the oil and here i thought i was to good for the manual...well i read most of it
