Default oil pressure gauge

One thing that I don't like about the S is the lack of a oil pressure gauge. It was the same way in my 240sx and I never liked that also. Would the addition of a oil pressure gauge be a good thing to do? I would like to get into autox a bit more in the coming year so I figure it wouldn't be that bad to have for sake of knowing but for just tooling around town, is it worth it?

Be sure to understand how an oil pressure works before installing it, other than that, go for it.

I had one installed in my 240sx but sold it with the car since it was a cheaper autometer. I was reading about the whole tapered thread mishaps (really stinks for those guys) and remembered having to buy an adapter for the sender to fit properly on my KA. Maybe I'll get one once I get my tax return back since tax season is coming up on us very quickly.

I agree with you, although what I really wish the S had is a reservoir fill level gauge. For us AP1 owners, that really would've been useful. A pressure gauge would be nice, but I'm not sure it's particularly useful information.

Just my 2 cents.
