Ok Im gettin em
Well I guess it makes sense since his car is black... and these are cheaper than OEM aren't they? In that case it would make sense to pocket some of the insurance $$...
Personally I think it looks silly just to have a CF fender when the whole car isn't..

They are not cheaper. Roughly $400 more.
well here is the deal they gave me 1000 dollars to get the fender fixed and repainted as well as the door. The fenders will cost me 650 plus shipping so around 750. The carbon fiber is definately cheaper than getting one fender fixed. I just hate to have filler on my body anywhere. And if i wanted to get another oem fender thas around 350 plus paint.
I have a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber front lip, and carbon fiber eyelids as well. So i thought the fenders would make it look nice as well. for some reason i just really like the look of carbon fiber. im only doing it for looks. no race car here, but i am planning on a rebuild soon.
I think ill have to add sideskirts and some sort of aftermarket rear bumper for the seibon fenders. those fenders are really aggressive in my opinion.

If they were truly C/F them MAYBE you could leave them unpainted and still look alright if all the other stuff was the same C/F. Hopefully the weave will be the same as the other items you already have, Seibon's 2x2. I had to get replacement fenders also, I went w/the vented ones, painted of course. If I had to do it over I would definately go OEM metal, the fitment issues sucked bad, took alot of work and $$ to get them fitted o.k. They still look like glass fenders, like most glass cars, it's not as smooth as metal (unless you spend more $$ then it's still a crap shoot with heat and cold). The only real reason to get them is that they are 10mm wider and you'll save about 10lbs between the 2 of them. Personally I don't think you'll be happy with them in the long haul, I'm already contemplating my next replacements, even more $$......
I think mix and match c/f cars don't look too hot, just another opinion.

C/F are not cheaper than OEM, if there are any issues w/fitment it'll be quite a bit more. Bottom line they won't fit like OEM, they'll look ALRIGHT but not great. Good luck, post some pics when you get them on.
