is it ok to use a 65mm spring...
was looking at getting some swift springs, some ground control sleeves, and some koni's.. but ground control uses 2.5inch diamater 8inch long springs.
swift has the 8 inch long spring, but only 60 and 65mm diameters.
the 65mm one will leave a 0.75mm gap all around the spring seat.. is that acceptable? it's a very small difference, but will it make a difference?
also, can koni's handle 450lb springs? was planning on running either...
A. 8k F, 7k R
B. 8K F, 8k R
C. 7k F, 7k R
D. 7k F, 6k R
any suggestions as to which spring rates? running 215/245 right now, moving to 225/255 eventually. running espelir's now and it's a little more tail happy than oem, and a little more tail happy than i like it (espelir rates 5.3k F, 7k R)
and i will be running agressive offsets and a big drop, so i'm leaning on either A or B as it stands.
