Well it took me along time to join this forum but already kind of have a history here. I'm on my second S2000 and from what i hear all of you guys heard about my first. I drive but do not own my s2000. In fact it is my mothers s2k but hey im 21 and she lets my drive it, why wouldnt i? The first s2k was rear ended on calvine about a year ago. it was dark silver, an 01. i was rear ended on my way home from the station and put under the suv in front of me well it worked out well because we made money off of it because the first one was purchased used for way under blue book. To bad we ended up with another Silver 03 from elk grove honda. We were pushing for a black one or a blue one, love the car just didnt want a repeat color. So to finish the duplication this s2k the new one even has the old liscence plate hammered out and put on the back of it. Its a fireman plate so youll know if its me. The other cars I own are a 66 mustang i fully restored and upgraded with to many goodies to list- all work done by myself. The second car i have is a 97 coupe with a 99 front, full leather, body work and pearled S2000 indy yellow for the paint. Both nice cars but me and my mother have made the arrangments for me to purchase this S2000 from her in several years as she moves into a mercedes. So ive joined this to start looking into my options. I'm pretty much responsible for all the maint. on the car and any upgrades i would like to do. Right now i want it stock, so far all ive done is rid myself of the front plate, put on the plate hole covers and from time to time rip off the air box lid just to hear it a little better Other than that i hope to get into the community around sacramento as i really enjoy the vehicle and having driven a large variety of cars I am content with this nice 2 seater roadster. Other notes im a college student looking to finish up a fire tech degree and can work on, and rebuild older domestics .

Monte Carlo Blue isn't available in the states so you would have been hard pressed to find one...

I really love mine. I was watching my wife pull away from the house in Neb yesterday, and I realized I never get to see the car in motion. I have gunmetal aftermarket wheels, and (I think) blue looks fantastic with that contrast (I realize most folks like shiny wheels, but hey...). Also, I was worried when I bought the car that the dark blue interior would get "old" after a while, but quite the opposite.

Anyway, whatever strikes a chord!
