dlq04, you should dig out that list of cars you've owned to show these young guys what they have to look forward to -- or strive for.

Age 67 years 7 months. Also own 2003 Infiniti G-35 sedan sport 6 speed, 2001 Honda CRV 5 speed and 2001 motorhome Ford E-450. Perhaps I am living my life in reverse?

If they own an S2000, the only advice I could give them is to REALLY appreciate what a wonderful sports car they have already. I dreamed all my life of having a car like this. I've driven lots of old British iron, Ferrari Daytona's, Vettes, etc. and owned a few but no matter what, I am amazed how great the S2000 is - no matter what the criteria: looks, engine, balance, price, reliability, pure driving enjoyment, track events, weather protection, etc. One can always dream of million dollar supercars but for pure fun without worries, you simply can not beat this car in my book. Most all of the young owners will move on to other car's but I suspect if they are true sports car nuts they will always wish they had kept this car. Honda got it right with this car. Anything better and it would have to be 100% pure race car.

dlq04 said it all ...

My first sports car was an Austin Healey Sprite ... fun car.

The S2000 will be my last ... great fun car.
