When the guys who were jacking my car ran, they left ALL thier tools, also the cops towed my car to get prints or else my insurance would have taken it already.

So you think it isnt gonna be a total loss?

Seats?
Headlights 2x
HID
Shift Knob
Dashboard
Top
Messed up fender
All my HID harnesses are clipped
Rear Taillight wires are clipped

Hmmm well we will see I guess... Anyone wanna buy a s2000? Fixed up with what you want!? LOL

This is an alarming trend. We've owned two for 3 and 4 years now and have felt pretty secure. Maybe bad guys have found a use for S2000 parts? Maybe the typical insurance scam is happening: Steal enough parts to force insurnance to total the car, then buy the car at the auction and put everything back in it. This really sucks if it forces our isurance costs up and we cannot afford to get two more S2000s when our leases are up.

Why would theives target the S2000? They would be a lot better off with SUV parts or something more popular, less tracable, and easier to sell.

If they do fix it, I might sell it..
Anyone interested? You can get all aftermarket stuff for it.. maybe $23k worth of aftermarket stuff to fix it...

only 2.6k miles

sheesh....

Anyone think they will total it?
