It went like this...
Have great New England S2000 meet.
Leave to go home.
Feeling good, nice day sunny, top down.
About 8pm
Get on the on ramp. Punch it.
1st....2nd....3r..see cop, cops brakelights come on, oops.
Slow down, signal pull over, guy could have walked to my car from where he was parked on the side of the road.
Etc....
80 in a 55...
Said I came up so fast that he didnt have time to get me before I got on the highway.
Licence, reg....etc. yes sir, no sir.
I was supprised at how relaxed I was. I wasnt going to let it wreck my day
I got off with a warning

looks like you need a V1 <grins>

btw, downshift hard next time - avoid the brake lights - they'll see em every time.

hehe...

Well, I'm honored that my legacy of constabulary photography continues! Yes, I agree with Schatten, don't put your brakes on, that pisses them off! And having a V1 probably wouldn't have helped you. Remember kids, cops can pull you over without having you on radar!

I actually have another photo of a cop pulling as S2000 over. Meat (Brad) and I were out a couple of weeks ago with someone else who owns an S2000 (you know who you are! ). They get snagged for racing, no, not racing me! And I of course, had my camera, but Brad was too much of a chicken and we couldn't get close enough to get a good shot.

Anyway, glad you got off with just a warning...congrats! Always say please, thank you, yessir etc. You know the drill...

Just give a gentle pull on the e-brake to slow down a little; no brake lights at all.

I didn't know that Greg had a rep for such pictures, but here's my version from a visit to the Left Coast a couple of years ago.

I thought some of you guys may not know about my run in's with Mr. Law last year with Scarlet. But I got pulled over 5 times, ticketed twice, both of those were dismissed.

At least two times, the cop pulled me over just to look at my car and I never got a ticket for no front plate. I did get a couple tickets for no front plate while parked downtown tho. 25 bucks is a small price to pay to keep Scarlet's nose from being uglified.

Here are a couple of shots from the most famour encounter...

Still makes me chuckle...

lol - You guys crack me up! I enjoyed the pictures, now I know what I am suppose to do while they write my ticket.

RossoS2K,
Sounds like a good meet this past weekend, sorry I did not make it. Hopefully next time. Glad to hear that they cut you break and gave you a warning. It could have been a lot worse with out of state plates, I assume you register in NH.

I'm wondering what that officer is doing? He is either a bad two-stepper or giving himself a sobriety test - and failing.

Maybe a thread should be started on what to do when you get pulled over by your friendly officer. That should carry some pretty interesting laughs.

Here's another one when Sondra up here the first time. We had just come from a Lotus/Lambo/other exotics dealer and a Modena had pulled out of the lot at the same time we did. Well DAMMIT we wanted to hear that thing open up! So I drop to second, he starts to take the bait, then I look over to the right and all I see was a cop tucking away his radar gun and literally RUNNING back to his car!!

Just a few days before, Sondra and I went to traffic court for the FIRST one and the cop in the first set of pics didn't show and the ticket was discharged. And that morning, I woke up KNOWING that I was going to get a ticket that day...!

Well, he nailed me for "something" in a 45, I refuse to incriminate myself....

Anyway, here's the shot...hehe
