Tbe engine makes 240hp at the crank. Most dynos will read the power at the wheels which is around an 18% drivetrain loss to the wheels.

Whatever you're reading your numbers from, is rating the EDM/JDM by the crank, and the USDM by the wheels. So yes, this is very true. But it's also true that EDM/JDM's make ~193whp, and USDM's make 240hp if you just flip the fine print

193hp is not equal to 193whp, so make sure you understand that.

thanks for the answers, but I know all differents types of power, and for example placed on this graph is not in bhp or whp, if not, hp. so my question.

and 193 whp is 230 hp approximate, not is low? What type fuel put in your S2000?

Regards.

That graph is showing WHP, power being put down at the wheels. Keep in mind that different Dyno's will give you different numbers. some read low, some read high.

As far as fuel, most run 91 or 93 (premium fuel) , depending on what your state offers.

Wow!! only 93? In here put 98, it may be the cause of lower power? a few revolutions cuts the USDM model?

Regards.

Not quite. S2000's make the same amount of horsepower everywhere in the world (excluding elevation changes and some minor emissions differences). The s2000 does NOT make less power than the European version. It has the same engine, redline, etc. as the European model.

Also, our 93 gas is the same as your 98 gas. In Europe they only report RON (research octane number) at the pump whereas in the US they use the average of RON and MON ([R + M] / 2).

The only major differences you will find amongst MODEL YEARS, not domestic markets; although there are some different options/colors/emissions equipment.

Regards,
-Duo

you compared bhp hp and whp.

jdm gets 250
edm and usdm gets 240

generally translating to 190whp or so
