Maybe you should get one with automatic brakes too. They could automatically engage whenever the G-load exceeds 1.1 and would prevent any possibility of rapid acceleration, high-speed cornering, annoying vtec stunts and those naughty smiles evident on the faces of most S2K drivers. Hell, with all of these innovations, you could probably dispense with the need for that annoying steering wheel too and replace it with a computer chip. This could free you attention for, you know, a little amour on the freeway, but alas, your services are no longer required ... it seems that you've been replaced by an automatic device too.

its one of hte best shifters in the world.
but smg might be a nice option. so the gf can drive it.

I do think a Sequential Manual would be a neat option.
