Default Only in the USA?

Is the 2008 S2000 CR only available in the USA. I was at the international Auto show in Toronto and went up the the main booth for Honda and asked if they had a CR around and not one employee of Honda at the show knew what the heck I was talking about. They were upset to hear me say that the 2008 was the last year also. They said that it wasn't true. LOL They had a S2000 on display but it was the same old S. I was under the impression that the only S2000's for 2008 were the CR's.

there are no CR's sold in the Canadian market. I'm not sure if the CR is even admissible into Canada either.

But hey, I was at the autoshow last sunday and I was really happy to see that the S was completely unlocked with it's top down. Considering the pcar's and most other vehicles in that class were all locked up; stupid.

Rad, did you see that tuned hyundai tib?

USA gets the CR. Japan and Europe get the Type-S or a variant, which is almost a CR but keeps the soft top - basically what we should have gotten.

The CR was designed for the S2000 designer as a going away present (supposedly, states Honda), yet its sold in the USA, not even Japan. It makes no sense, but Honda has not been doing too well lately in any regard.

2008 is the last year. I have been reading that since 2000.

Don't know why everyone hates the CR so much...I like it, just couldn't afford it .

I didn't see the Tib, where was it, MTCC. There were a few cars in the class of the S that were open. Well I guess it depends what you define class. The 350Z, which I absolutely hate. The front clip is disgusting. Time for a change, and the Z4, which is very uncomfortable to sit in. The seats are garbage. Not my styling.

funny thing is, a ton of dealers here in AZ have at least 2 in hand, they are trying to sell those more than the regular s2000.
