Default Oops... Just I just enter into a 4 wheel drift?

Okay-- Disclaimer: I'm a 30 yr old male... MOSTLY a responsible driver, etc...yadda-yadda... BUT-- I was coming home today, and was doing about 90 on the frontage road of a highway.

All of the sudden my Radar detector lights up and I look in my rear-view mirror-- FAR back, you guessed it... The MAN was back there and he was not pleased.

Not interested in a ticket, I decided to turn, and go on a road I knew pretty well... took it kinda fast (mind you, non-residential), and put my baby into a niiiiice 4 wheel drift. I was cookin'... I dunno if "he" was in persuit.. anyway, I doubled back around and got back onto the main highway-- ticket free.

Now, I know this isn't cool, isn't responible...etc. I've taken my stook on some very high-speed twist drives with the group-- and really pushed it, but I was really impressed with how she responsded to my inputs in a "tight" situation.

Now.. before the flames.. it was dumb, stupid, etc... but at least I did this "stupidity" in a place where there were no cars/pedistrians/small children holding kittens, etc...

Anyway, it was a nice adrenaline rush. The main reason (I'm sure), I didn't get the ticket was because of the twistyness of the road.

** I don't recommend people do this-- it was dumb.

... a few hours have passed... And I'm still amazed at how well the car (and driver) performed. I feeling like Obi-one-- using the force. God this car handles well.

I would never run from the popo

I ran and hid and they found me but I did lose them for about
15 min then one found me and like 5 more showed up.
Very stupid!!!!

I have court soon (me scared)

The one cop asked "what the hell you got under the hood ?"
I responded "a four cylinder"
My lawyer said I have a chance to get away scott free
Don't ask me how

I love my S2K, just hope I can keep it !!

Was it clear that he was going to pull YOU over?

Did he have lights and siren on?

Generally I do not pull over until a emergency vehicle is within 4-5 car lengths of me. IMO you "may" have been caught for 90 already. Why would you have pulled over? I am sure you intended to turn on that road anyhow

How could he proved you were running unless he was sure you had visual contact with him, and you did not yield to him.

This has happened to me before and I have nevere been caught, I have not had to drive that hard, just a lot of turning and taking odd routes

Any thoughts?

I was in the city, not alot of open road so I probably would
not have been caught in boonies.
