Default Opening the passenger side door from the inside...?

Howdy,

Besides reaching over your date or significant other......do you know of any way to open the passenger side door from the driver's side.....with the key in the ignition.....(I know someone said go try the remote unlock button). Does not work while the car is on. Let me know if I am missing anything.

If your 'date' or S/O is in the car with you, you really oughta get out, walk around, and open the door for her!

If the person's already inside, why would you need to reach over? Isn't it easier for your passenger to open the door themselves? Also, do you actually lock your doors when you're in the car?

Mine lock (and unlock) automatically with the ignition - is that just a function of my aftermarket alarm? I assumed it was normal behavior...

My door locks stay unlocked, and they only lock when I arm the oem alarm.

I had my aftermarket alarm set up so that it could unlock the door by pushing one of the buttons on my remote. I can unlock the door at anytime.
