sweetj,
Both tires are going to be alot more narrow than the S02's.
But, if I had to choose...
Go for the T1-S. Good dry and wet weather grip.
P7000 Supersport should last a bit longer...but not by much.

Unicorn,
If I was to get the Toyo T1S, what size should I get them in?By getting the Toyo's I would save about $90. Do you think it's worth it? I'm worried if I switched I would lose the traction that I have with the SO-2s. Would switching make that much of a difference? I also use my car as a daily driver, 30miles each way to work. It's half highway half city. Any other suggestions are much appreciated.

I put the Toyo T1S on my 1982 Porsche 911SC and they were great tires. But I had some old Pirelli 7 series on it before so maybe the Toyo seemed better than they were by comparison only. I don't know how they'd fare on the S2K, but from what I remember, it improved the handling on my 911 immensely.

sweetj,
I would get the 245/45/16 T1-S for the stock rears. They have the same diamter as stock (24.8 inches).

Let me compare my 245/35/18 T1-S to the stock...
I would guestimate that the T1-S have 3/4 the grip of the S02's. I can launch @ 7K with the S02's where 6K is all I can launch the T1-S at. The S02's have a stiffer sidewall than the T1-S. There will be a difference in road holding without the S02's.
With the S02's, I can take corners a bit faster...but the S02's seem to give out without warning (behave like R compounds). I like the T1-S because you can hear the tires sqeal before they loose road holding.
But, the T1-S has lasted me double the milage than the S02's and the T1-S is alot better than the S02's in wet weather.
If you want max performance, short-medium tread life...S02's.
If you want between max and medium performance, long tread life, good wet weather handles...T1-S.

A word of caution.. having a different type of tire on the front and rear will alter the handling of the car, especially when pushed towards the limit. It may not may a difference for most drivers, but it can provide some surprises.
