Default Opinions needed on intake i modified

Ive customized a short ram intake and wanted to get your opinions. Im still working on the finished product but here is what ive done so far. When you look at the intake, Ive put a some coats of bondo around the intake to protect it from the heat. I replaced the filter i purchased with a k&n filter since the one it came it was Crap. Ive also installed a heat shield. Regarding the bumper, i opened the fake vents to get some more air in the engine bay. I know its not that much. Does it look good or beneficial. My concern is that where its located, im not sure if its getting enough air. I was going to mabey cut the aluminum about 2 inches so its not so close to the fender wall. Also im concerned about when it rains. Another thing i wanted to get was the carbon fiber cooling plate for the radiator. Ive seen some have some customized holes which cover the plate but has an opening for the stock air box so it can generate more air. Would that help. Also please advise if you think it looks horrible or if it looks ok. Im thing im trying to decide is to stick with this or to install back the stock air box.

The other pic is what recently happened about somebody vandalizing my car

I would think the bondo would crack over time, depending how thick you applied it.

I applied 3-4 layers with a fiberglass sheet so it could hold it better. Then i sanded it down and painted it black with the 500 degree heat resistant paint. I dont think ill have any issues but im not that familar with bondo.

I know it doesnt look that good.. I tried sanding the crap out of it but couldnt get it right.. its the purpose it serves.. it stays very cool and the final thing im going to do is put another shield infront of the radiator so it just gets the air from the fender opening..

well, once it gets harden bondo is actually pretty hard to send down.
but a bit more effort you can still make it look WAY better than that.

how much bondo dust did you breath on when you were working on that shiet?

i dunno what to think about your comment on its function.
how do you know it stays cool? or the engine's sucking in cooler air with it?
how is it better than light weigh, easier to apply, more asthetically pleasing
thermo tape or heat reflector?

how much does that thing weigh anyway?

have you thought about the bondo cracking and chipping off when you hit pot holes or bumpy road?

if you really wanna stick to that,
you migh as well go to home depot and buy this insulating/sealing foam called "great stuff",
and spray the hack out of it on your intake,
then wrap it with heat blocking thermo wrap.
once it's covered up, at least it'll "look" more racy.
