Default Opinions on Rick's badges

I just ordered the badges and wheel emblems for my 2000 silver/black. I haven't seen very many of these installed and I ordered the silver on black for both. I'm ok with the silver on black for the wheels as I think it will stand out a little more than black on silver but I'm looking for input on the badges. Is this combo going to stand out too much? I have a black Delaware plate (rear only) and thought this would be a nice compliment. I also thought of ordering silver on silver as I did see this and it blends nice or maybe go mid-way with the black on silver. I could always return the silver on black. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks, S2KRAY

S2KRAY--

What a coincidence. I have a silver/black. It also sports the black DE license plate. I just yesterday installed Rick's badges. I got the silver on black wheel badges (like you) and I'm fine with those.

Unlike you, I got the black on silver body badges. I installed the front one so far. I like it but I'm still getting used to it. I may not install the rear one (?).

If you like, you can check out my car, I'm at the beach right now. I might be interested in trading my one unused black on silver body badge for one of your silver on black badges.

I also have a full set of silver on black badges on my car and I think they look great. No regrets here!

First off the badges are awesome! Great job by Rick and company. Secondly I also drive a Silver/Black. Thirdly I am one of the few that has seen ALL color combos on the car. I ordered Chrome on Silver which Rick was out of. As a long time poster and valued customer of Rick's, he sent me a set of every color of badge and every color of wheel for the Silver model. After much debate I went with the black on silver for both the badges and the wheels. All badges blend very well with the color. To me the Silver on black looks like a pimple on the nose of the car. While the silver on silver is a little too nondescript. The only color badge I did not see was chrome on silver...but after seeing silver on silver I knew it would not be enough (for my taste anyway). If you go black on silver all around you surely will not be disappointed!

P.S. Tell em Utah sent ya............

Rick said that there is not enough demad for badges for the white Stooks to produce one. I like the badge, but with not having something for the white Stooks I and the others with white will have to stay with our "H" proudly.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. I think I'll wait for the badges to arrive and then see how they look on the car. It sounds like they are finished beautifully and will definitely compliment the car.

I have the Silver/Chrome. I didn't want them to stand out too much and after having all of the samples laid down on my trunk I thought this was the best for me.

The S blends in well with the body color and gives it more of a 3D effect.

I don't think that you can go wrong with the silver/black and it is just a matter of taste.

I dunno about it. Not my type of cosmetic upgrade. Looks very *very* similar to the shifter knob emblem on the 3.2CL Type-S. If it were totally unique, maybe...

But I do like the colored steering wheel and the headrest inserts Rick has...

Wait a sec...let me get my fire extinguisher...
