While I am incredibly excited and have been avidly reading EVERY post I can on here... I have not been able to calm down or get over the anticipation since my test drive and signing for the order this past friday - I'm going insane guys! I don't even know when it will arrive...as there supposedly are only a handful of yellows in New England and I may have to wait a month for my order ACK!
I am guessing many people on here have gone through the same thing - how did you survive the wait!?
if you search the thread, there will bw one that list all things to do while waiting for the S2000, if I remember right, the best things to do is to play PS2 GT3.
fortunately I never need to wait for my S2000 since here in SoCal there are a lot of them and people can almost find one anyday in any colours.
good luck on the waiting, and hope you get our car as soon as possible.
Hehe - thanks, It's been a while since I played GT3 - guess I'll go fire up the ps2 now and see I can do!
Oh and a bit of advice for anyone else who is going to order an s2000 - as odd as this sounds, don't testdrive another s2000 before yours arrives:
Me: *shaking hands* "I need my fix..."
Dealer: *smiling* "Well now, the first one's free - but the second will cost ya $32k"
JJ - Take any chance you can get to drive - it was a lot of fun!
Congratulations jmrobins. You picked a great color and it will only be a few more weeks until you're driving with the top down and enjoying spring. What I found kinda neat was after washing and waxing the car I saw a dramatic change in the appearance of the Spa yellow pearl. The shimmering of the pearl really comes out in the sunshine. You'll love it. Take good care of it and it will provide you with years of enjoyment.
i got mine 6 weeks ago and am still totally obsessed by it. i shoveled off enuf drive last weekend so that i could get the power washer out and wash and detail it in 25 degree weather. i will drive this car till i die, which will hopefully be from old age in about 40 years.
