Can it really be that hard to make a one-off? Come on! be original!!!

If I were gonna go about it, I'd take a block of putty and mold it into a close shape of what I wanted then use something like fibreglass resin so I could sand it afterwards to get the clean shape I want, plus you know you can paint it after and it probably wont peal.

But what do I know, I'm not a fabricator, obviously

 

Are you talking about the ones that were on the MY01, chrome and cut out? If so I may have a set, if you want them PM me & I'll check to see if I still have them.

 

A couple months ago I was really considering something like this myself. This is the same badge that you find on the S600 and S800. Maybe if you can get your hands on one of those you can figure out how to replicate it. IDK, I never thought it through completely... hell, I don't even have the car yet.

 

eBay has them every once in a while, you just have to keep checking.
