Did you check out some of the other inane threads on the C&D board?

Lets hope few of them find there way over here!

On the S2K thread, however, sunchild and 2x6speeds seemd to do a good job of educating the S2000 ignorant...

Some of the best lines I have ever read. Love the comment about getting away after robbing a 7-11.

That was a funny thread. I particularly liked the crack about the mullet. Alot of people who bought cars that were sporty, quick and pretty good looking are now faced with a whole new set of roadsters on the market that perform very well. It's their insecurities about their own car that prevent them from enjoying what they have and makes them spend a lot of time bashing any these newer, better performing cars. They use sort of a selective memory. They will only hold on to whatever particular complaint that some guy/girl at a magazine thought. And I guess that's good enough for them to feel a little better about their own car.

Beating the hell out of something has never been so FUN!

I'm not sure why you guys even bother to respond to those idiots over there. People that stupid and ignorant aren't capable of changing their opinion. It doesn't matter what facts you give them, they will argue back with their opinion.

I do find it funny that on a C&D forum, they're trashing the S2000 and using C&D as a reference when it has been listed as a 10 best car for two years now.

OMG, it's inanity just like that which makes me happy to participate in forums (here and h-a) that people have manners and intelligence. That was sorely lacking on that thread, with one or two exceptions, it's completely devoid of reason, respect or rational thought.

Sev, I thought you scan of timeslips was awesome!

Anyway, 2X6 et al, you guys did an admirable job...it's just, IMO, a lost cause. Whose pee pee is bigger? That's really what that thread devolved into. Nice try attempting to convince the unconvinceable...it's just an uphill battle in a blizzard...naked...without weapons...a mission objective...and on a hill coated in Vaseline...

I know its a total waste of time. It has been long since i have let go and answered stupid posts though, i would never do something like this on our boards.

I just felt like shooting the crap with those idiots.

I wish i hadn't gotten rid of my older time slips, it would have been much more.
