Great. Now every time I leave my top down in a parking lot (hardly, if ever), some bozo is going to jump in and start molesting my hand brake. Wonderful.

One thing you can do is cover your VIN on the dash. That will at least keep anyone from scamming a key from a dealer without first breaking in to the car.

Actually there is a way. Keep the car in a big garage with guard dogs and armed guards, and the armed guards go everywhere with you and watch the car.
