Outch!
Little stupid moment with a heavy price....hitting a drainage at the curb with the front right wheel this weekend! It made a huge dent into the stock aluminum rim, about 3/4 inch. I have 7000 miles on the S-O2 factory tires. Since it is a 2002 and my baby, is it nuts to replace both front tires plus the rim?
Or should one take the hint and get some hot new wheels? Just to replace the damage, so far, it looks like it is at least $700 for one rim and two tires without labour. Not the world, I understand, but a big bill for a quick "hey lets say hi to my sister real quick" (wife talking, lol) kind of stop.

If your anything like me I can't deal with wheel rash or any other imperfections. Once I had a ding in my 2nd gen eclipse and I felt embarassed to drive it until I had it rubbed out......
If $700+ brings back peace of mind....."Dewwwiiittttt!!!!"
OR just buy a whole new set of performance wheels/tires and sell the other 3 OEM to other members with dented up wheels.
Is the dent bad enough to ruin balance/camber/alignment?
